Photographs from the dining room, the patio and the pass — the brunch plates, the high tea stands, the corner tables in morning light. They were all taken here, on ordinary service days, with the food going out as it is served rather than styled for the camera.

The bright room with the yellow chairs is the main dining space; the long table at the back seats groups of up to twelve. The glass-covered section is the patio, open from spring through to the first cold week of autumn. The stands, pots and tiered plates are the high tea service, laid out exactly as it arrives at the table.
People often arrive with a photograph on their phone and ask for that table, that stand or that plate. All three are usually possible: the corner tables can be requested when you book, the high tea stand is the same one in every picture, and the dishes shown are on the regular menu rather than one-off specials.
The patio photographs are taken between May and October. Out of season the same seats move indoors, which is why some of the winter pictures show the room laid out differently. If a specific setting matters for a birthday or a shower, mention it in the booking request and we will hold the right table rather than leaving it to chance.
Everything here was photographed by us on service days. Where guests are visible they were asked first, and we take any picture down on request — a quick note through the contact form is enough, no explanation needed.

The same forty seats look very different across the year: bare tables and low winter light in January, the patio doors folded open in July, pumpkins and heavier plates by October. Several of the sets below were shot months apart in exactly the same spot, which is the clearest way to show how the room actually changes.
